This web site was inspired by the trials and tribulations of my family with an aggressive woman that had harassed one of my kids at school enough to be ejected from the grounds, and eventually assaulted my wife in front of witnesses and my same child. This forced us to file for a restraining order, get an attorney and go to court more than once.

Her complete inability to simply own up for a mistake or two, and her need to somehow blame everything on us, has led to almost 4 years of numerous police reports, harassment, intimidation, eavesdropping, spying, rumor spreading, slander of us and our children, and various other acts of lunacy, including the eventual assault on my wife, while she tries to get us in trouble for things we have never done in a misguided effort to vindicate herself by finding fault with us.

Truly, the most childish, disturbing and deranged of behavior of any situation I have personally ever been witness to...and if you knew me, you'd better know and appreciate the magnitude of that statement.

Through this process, dealing with the police, school officials, public servant prosecutors, private attorneys, court appointed dispute mediators and the court system we learned a lot about the process of restraining orders. I am using this web site to share what we have learned in an effort to help others avoid what we have went through, and as a sort of therapy for myself.

While our experience lies mostly in what most authorities involved label as "neighborhood disputes", in the interest of more complete set of information we have added some info we got from people we know involving how to deal with domestic violence and child abuse as well, though they are far removed from our personal experience but do also tie in to the topic of personal security via court orders.

The processes we have gone through have given us a bit of experience with no contact orders and harassment restraining orders. However, we have also gained a little bit of knowledge in orders for protection by just going through all this. We also gained some experience in the process of dispute mediation and the enforcement of mediated agreements.

We have spent years dealing with an aggressive, self-righteous, self-entitled woman that has no empathy at all for anyone, including her own family, and will say and do anything she feels like to anyone she wants, at any time she feels like, if she thinks it gets her what she wants. Including perjury by submitted false documents to court and lying to police and school officials.

Thankfully, most of those actions have been laughably ignorant and only made her out to be a complete idiot to nearly everybody she has come in contact with. So she has fought most of the battle against herself, leaving us only to straighten out how to best protect ourselves from her.

So this site has been created by us, a nameless, faceless family from a nameless place, hoping that it helps you, the person or family that has suffered the same harassment we have, to get help.

It is our hope nobody ever needs it.
